This all-natural liquid coloring fomulation contains no artificial dyes and uses vegetable juices to give vibrant color. Our dark red natural food color is best suited for low-temperature processes and cold or frozen applications and will have the strongest, most vibrant color in those environments. Because this coloring is made without artificial dyes, it is very sensitive to high heat (such as in cooking and baking processes) and bright light and can fade when exposed to those factors. Use this versatile dark red food coloring liquid to create natural shades of muted, earthy dark red in frosting, icing, ice cream, and beverages. The more of this liquid food coloring is used, the more vibrant the final result will be. For best results, use 1/2 to 3/4 of a percent based on total volume as a starting level and adjust based on the desired shade. Please note that the aciditiy of ingredients will affect the final color, and the most vibrant hues will be provided in the 4-5 pH range.
