Create lovely blue colors with our natural blue food color. This all-natural fomulation contains no artificial dyes and uses spirulina extract for brilliant coloring. Our natural food color is best suited for low-temperature processes and cold or frozen applications and will have the most vibrant hues in those situations. Because this coloring contains no artificial dyes, it will be very sensitive to high heat and bright light and can fade in those environments. Use this versatile, beautiful blue food coloring liquid to create lovely blue shades in frosting, icing, ice cream, and beverages. The more coloring is used, the more vibrant the color will be. For best color, use 1/2 to 3/4 of a percent based on total volume as a starting level and adjust based on the desired shade. Please note that the aciditiy of ingredients will affect the final color, and the most vibrant hues will be provided in the 4-5 pH range.
