Create lovely earth tones with our natural brown food coloring. This all-natural fomulation contains no artificial dyes and uses tea extract as the colorant. Our natural food color is best suited for low-temperature processes and cold or frozen applications and will have the strongest color in those situations. Because this coloring contains no artificial dyes, it is very sensitive to high heat (such as in baking or cooking processes) and bright light and can fade in those environments. Use this versatile earthy brown food coloring liquid to create muted, earthy and realistic brown hues in frosting, icing, ice cream, and beverages. The more of this liquid colorant is used, the more vibrant the final color will be. For best results, use 1/2 to 3/4 of a percent based on total volume as a starting level and adjust based on the desired shade. Please note that the aciditiy of ingredients will affect the final color, and the most vibrant hues will be provided in the 4-5 pH range.
